SKI COURSES FOR CHILDREN

On the first day in our children's ski school, we will assign you to the appropriate riding group depending on your riding ability. This way you can be sure that all the participants in your group ride equally well. 

As soon as you have learned how to swing the plough and how to brake, you will head on to the big slopes in the ski area. The ski area Horberg/Penken offers you many easy slopes so that you can learn the right technique together with your group.  You can then prove your skiing skills at the ski race (Thursdays). 

In our group courses, we also offer you a supervised lunch break in our two partner restaurants. So, you can have lunch together with other children in your group and your ski instructor.

If you are just starting to practice your first turns on the practice slope, you will visit the Horberg restaurant in the mountain station during your lunch break. You can reach this comfortably without skis. If you are already on your way on the big slopes, the ski instructor will select the route so that you arrive in time for the well-deserved break either at the Horberg restaurant or the "Sunnalm".

If you are between 3 and 4 years old and attend our special Bambini course, you will learn how to stand on your skis through many fun and playful exercises and in a small group (2 to a maximum of 5 children per instructor) and can practice your first turns on our practice slope.

Your mum and dad can cheer you whenever you want when you are on the practice slope. 

If you register for a 4-hour course, we have a lot of great play equipment on the practice slope as well as in our warm ski school hut (e.g. our fun tyre carousel) prepared for your afternoon in addition to skiing, because skiing is very exhausting.

Of course, we also offer you a supervised lunch break in our Bambini course. So, you can enjoy a delicious lunch together with your ski instructor and the other children in the Horberg Restaurant and look forward to the afternoon. 

If you are between 4.5 and 6 years old and have always wanted to try skiing, but don't want to book a group course right away, you can discover the feeling of skiing in one of our beginner groups with our trial course.

You can book the trial course with us on-site and then start with the skiing fun. If you like skiing, you can always extend to a group course and experience even more skiing fun.
