Ski Courses for Children
CHILDREN'S SKI SCHOOL
On the first day of the course at the children's ski school we place you in the right group according to your skiing ability. That way you can be sure that everyone in your group skis about as well as you do.
As soon as you have learned the snowplough turn and how to brake, you leave the practice slope and head out onto the big pistes. The Horberg/Penken ski area offers plenty of easy slopes so that you can learn the right technique together with your group. You can then show off your new skills at the ski race (every Thursday).
In our group courses we also offer a supervised lunch break at our two partner restaurants. That way you can have lunch together with the other children in your group and your ski instructor.
If you are still practising your first turns on the practice slope, you will visit the Horberg Restaurant at the mountain station for the lunch break — easy to reach without skis. If you are already out on the big pistes, your ski instructor will pick a route that gets you to your well-earned break at either the Horberg Restaurant or the "Sunnalm" in good time.

BAMBINI SMALL GROUP COURSE
If you are between 3 and 4 years old and join our special Bambini course, you will learn how to stand on skis through lots of playful and fun exercises in a small group (2 to a maximum of 5 children per instructor), and you can practise your first turns on our practice slope.
Your mum and dad can cheer you on at the practice slope at any time.
If you sign up for a 4-hour course, we have lots of great play equipment ready for you in the afternoon in addition to skiing — both on the practice slope and in our warm ski school hut (for example our fun tyre carousel) — because skiing is hard work.
Of course our Bambini course also includes a supervised lunch break. That way you can enjoy a tasty lunch at the Horberg Restaurant together with your ski instructor and the other children, and look forward to the afternoon.

TASTER COURSE
If you are between 4.5 and 6 years old and have always wanted to give skiing a try without booking a full group course straight away, our taster course lets you discover what skiing feels like in one of our beginner groups.
You simply book the taster course with us on site and off you go. If you enjoy skiing, you can upgrade to a group course at any time and have even more fun on the slopes.
